“Fractionals have helped to build upon the already growing more positive image for Timeshare. In the early days timeshare got a negative reputation that came from poorly executed hotel converted products rather than today’s more purpose built product. So the upscale fractional image is good news for timeshare. Plus as a term fractional is a mere aptly descriptive term – a fraction of a whole interest. It also led the way for urban timeshare. And finally imitation is the highest form of flattery. The birth of fractionals is a testament to timeshare’s success as a great vacation product.” ~Howard Nusbaum

Timeshare has always been a symbol of the American middle class, hit hardest by the collapsing credit market. Flattening like a flan in a cupboard, 2008 shriveled timeshare sales, with little or no financing for consumers in site. Timeshare and fractional ownership had been meeting the needs of everyone from the working class to the super rich. As fractionals evolve there will be more contemporary products suited for the middle class, blue collar worker.

But the concept has two types: Fractional or shared ownership, like traditional timeshare, and a rental agreement. Rental agreements tend to expire, with one party the owner, and the other the tenant. The fractionals are growing in popularity, leading to a more amiable attitude toward timeshare. Travel enthusiasts have found ways to enjoy the opulent luxuries of life, using fractional ownership to turn a lifestyle into a vacation.

Though booted from the Queen’s English, The Staycation is definitely here to stay, for the next few years at least. Until developers get their shares together, nowhere near the sum of people that traveled during the last few years will be looking to far off tropical vacation destinations. Leisure time is expensive enough, so what better way to relieve stress than cutting most of the travel expense out completely?

Timeshare Resales, Save Money and Promote Good Health

The staycation, recently hitting its peak in 2008 especially, became popular when fuel and airfare prices rocked summertime travel. Keeping the vacationing local will typically pare leisure costs in tierce? We all live relatively close to a city of some sort. Why anti into a game that will end up costing thousand of dollars more than you have to spend. Can be just as relaxing as a traditional vacation, in some cases it can be even more so, involving less planning and expense.

As consumers and businesses are slashing leisure and travel costs, few are going to consider primary sales, with the resale market gaining speed like it is. After troubles in the stock exchange pummeling big-name developers, stock value has dwindled down to half what they were in 2007. Halting developments and lopping off sales departments, companies like Wyndham have staggered, with shares down 70 percent, Marriott down 46%, and Starwood shares down 62 percent.

It is tough to trust a huge company that has driven itself destitute. They are a great time, provided the resorts can stay open over then next few years. Certain measures need to be taken to maximize the benefits of staycation such as turning off your phone and computer at least most of the time. Otherwise, your staycation is little more than a stressful extension of your regular life, offering no change of scenery, escape, or other features than make vacations so refreshing.

With the airfare and fuel prices teetering like they have been, many think the current economy will soon jack the price of travel to a height of luxury. Concerns like this are growing into the New Year. But travel probably won’t hit the point where only the wealthy can afford to cross the seas.

For now the staycation, regardless of its place in the vernacular, will reign supreme. A great means of finding affordability and leisure, BuyATimeshare.com will find you the ideal juxtaposition of local accommodations and first-rate amenities. It is good to know that you can still stay close to home, save money, and enjoy a rich life on your time off.

Websites like 10 Timeshare Secrets can help steer you toward a reputable timeshare marketer to get your timeshare sold.

There companies that spend the money on advertising and the technology necessary to drive timeshare buyers toward your properties. You do not advertise however, with someone who “already has a buyer.” That should be a red flag anyway (you cannot sell what you do not have). Whether it is a newspaper ad or a spot on Google, everyone will charge upfront. Anyone else will take a cut of the sale and sell it for a small percentage of what you paid, but it will probably get sold. Provided you work with the right company, an advertisement will reach the type of people you are looking for—buyers.

There are plenty of reasons to follow the piles of bad press on timeshare resale companies and maybe even timeshares altogether. Who can blame you? Timeshares are rife with fees and even if you do use it, it is an expense that requires maintenance and does not appreciate in value. Few owners completely understand the liabilities and benefits of their vacation property, often coerced into ownership by a finely tunes sales professional.

BuyATimeshare.com has the highest rate of success for selling timeshares in the industry. For years people have been finding the right timeshare packages to suit all of their travel needs.

If an owner’s life is not conducive to travel anymore, or if they cannot afford the expense, they typically look to rid themselves of the burden. And unless you are a trained sales agent with the ability to market your own timeshare properties, finding the right means of advertising is your best bet for selling a timeshare for anything close to the inflated price you may have paid from the timeshare developer.

As consumers and businesses are slashing leisure and travel costs, few are going to even consider primary sales, with the resale market gaining speed like it is. Halting developments and lopping off sales departments, companies like Wyndham have staggered, with shares down 70 percent, Marriott down 46%, and Starwood shares down 62 percent—just to put things in perspective.
