Timeshare Resale Scams vs. BuyATimeshare.com July 8, 2009
Posted by Bryan Connelly in : ARDA, News & Events, Timeshare Rental, Timeshare Resale, Timeshare Resource , 3commentsAs our competition tries harder and harder to gain your business they stray further and further away from the services the timeshare resale industry is supposed to provide. Of the millions of websites promising the fastest sales at too-good-to-be-true prices, few companies are truly equipped to advertise, and sell your timeshare successfully.
BuyATimeshare.com has heard stories from many of our clients regarding other companies that make deceptive telemarketing, promising to help individuals with their timeshare woes. Promising large sums of money, guaranteed sales, high pressure sales, and charging steep upfront fees. The sinister tactics have gotten so rampid that North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper has requested last week to temporarily ban Premier Timeshare Vacations, Inc. of Clearwater, Florida from making telemarketing calls to North Carolina residence.
Be wary of these types of companies, who will make outlandish promises to gain your business. They are making the entire industry fight harder for the trust of the consumer, who has witnessed these unethical practices for year. And while many will claim to do what BuyATimeshare.com can do, there is no timeshare solution in the world that has satisfied so many timeshare owners worldwide.
Any business that states they can guarantee a speedy sale or claim they have a buyer lined up, you should beware. It is why Cooper is seeking a permanent ban on this company’s telemarketing practices, and why he is asking the court to order Premier Timeshare Vacations to pay refunds to consumers and civil penalties to the state.
It is easy to spot a scam if you know what to look for. The fees should not be too excessive, and remember that no one can sell something they do not already have in inventory. No matter what, research the company, not for complaints but instead look to see how much traffic the site receives. Website like ranking.com, alexa.com and compete.com are independent businesses that will show you how any website ranks among the millions of sites online.
New Marriott Properties Promote Timeshare Resales July 6, 2009
Posted by Bryan Connelly in : Timeshare Resource , 1 comment so farThere is yet another pair of exquisite Marriott properties to enjoy in Florida, the vacation center of the timeshare universe. BuyATimeshare.com is the leader in brining timeshare to you at resale prices. We have been bringing vacation properties to the consumer at unbeatable prices, unlike any other company in the industry.
As construction continues on at Marriott’s Grande Lakes Orlando Lakeshore Reserve in Orlando, and at Marriott’s Oceana Palms at Palm Beach, these premium destinations are poised to deliver a lifetime of unforgettable vacationing. These resorts offer the highest quality and will feature only the latest in posh luxury and style.
BuyATimeshare.com has hundreds of Marriott properties in inventory, at unparalleled, for-sale-by-owner prices, with our state of the art timeshare resale marketplace. Expect to pay only 30% what the developer will price these sleek new resorts for. Marriott vacations are incredibly popular; sales at BuyATimeshare.com have increased 250% since the U.S. housing market witnessed turbulence and consumers endured an economic downturn.
People are cutting their spending, but not their vacations however. Why sacrifice luxury when all you have to do is change where you rent and buy you vacation properties? As Marriott’s Oceana Palms has a proposed first phase date of January 15, 2010 and Marriott’s Lakeshore Reserve has a proposed first phase occupancy date of June 2010, more and more buyers are looking to BuyATimeshare.com to gain access to these fantastic properties first, before paying upward of $50,000 for a new property.
Aaron’s Hobby (Music) July 3, 2009
Posted by aoliveira in : Timeshare Resource , add a commentMy name is Aaron Oliveira and I met Wes Kogelman (Owner of Vacation Property Resales) at University of Tampa in the fall of 1997. We hit it off and soon became very close friends. I normally went home for summer vacation to Massachusetts but in 1999 I decided to stay in Florida to find a summer job. One day towards the end of the spring semester while walking to class Wes was walking from class. We began chatting and eventually asked him what he was doing for a summer job. He informed me that he just started a business advertising vacation properties (mostly timeshares). I had no idea what a timeshare was at the time but decided to give it a go. What started as a 4 person business grew to 2 offices (one located in New Hampshire) and over 60 employees. Within 5-10 years we became one of the largest and most successful businesses in the timeshare industry.
I grew up in a music inspired environment. My dad started teaching me drums as a toddler and became quite exceptional by age 10. By 13 I had started learning bass guitar. Then at 15, after a few attempts, I finally started to really learn guitar. When the time came for me to go to the University of Tampa of course I couldn’t bring my drum set with me so I really began to dive into guitar, practicing as much as it took for me to play drums. I didn’t think I was very good since my entire extended family included musicians of all types that were quite amazing but my friends at school loved listening to whatever I could play. My good friend Jason Connolly was one of my roommates at the time and he inspired me with all types of different music. Before long I got him a job working at Buyatimeshare.com too. We are all still working together after all these years.
I had been in a band since 6th grade but we all went separate ways when college came around. I had planned on moving back to Massachusetts after school however when my parents decided to move down here I stayed, continuing to work for Buyatimeshare.com. A couple years went by and I was really missing the music scene. A friend brought home a music magazine and I was taking a gander through the classified section. It came down to playing guitar for a cover band or playing drums in an original project. Since I was always a fan of creativity and making my own music I went with the original project named Kosmik Egg which was ska, reggae and funk fusion styles. Dylan (lead singer/guitarist) soon noticed that I could play guitar also so we started a 2nd project known as Bleu Gravy which was mostly folk, rock, Americana styles. While working a 40 hour work schedule I also commuted every other night to St. Petersburg for either Kosmik Egg or Bleu Gravy practice (plus playing shows mainly on weekends). In the past few years Kosmik Egg has fizzled out but Bleu Gravy is still going strong. My co-workers were and are very supportive of me which is much appreciated. This year I decided to start a cover/original band with my friend Chris Chavez. Musically we are on the same wavelength. Our band is called Acre. When just 2 of us get together we call ourselves Half an Acre. When Eric (bass/guitar) and Ryan (hand drums/percussion) join us it’s Acre. Below you may see some videos of Kosmik Egg, Bleu Gravy & Half an Acre. Hope you enjoy!

Timeshare Solutions from Buy A Timeshare.com July 1, 2009

Throughout 2008 and 2009 straits in the U.S economy have triggered companies to pare staff by the thousand. US unemployment has increased, and in the aftermath of a tough credit market, companies like Marriott, Wyndham and Consolidated Resorts have shed sales departments of their hospitality industry.
BuyATimeshare.com is the leading timeshare resale firm. Due to an increase in the demand for selling and renting timeshares, this resale market is witnessing a boom. Vacationers are finding affordable trips during economic hardship, and the timeshare owners are getting their properties sold.
Contrary to current conditions, BuyATimeshare.com, a New Hampshire-based timeshare reseller and marketing firm has recently expanded its office in Merrimack, New Hampshire and in Tampa, Florida to handle the flood of buyers and renters looking for affordable rates at luxury suites.
Wesley Kogelman, President of BuyATimeshare.com explains “We have the most aggressive marketing program to bring buyers and seller of timeshare properties together; we’ve shown success with all timeshare properties throughout the world and want to offer people a worry-free way to sell or rent their timeshare properties.”
As a timeshare property ownership can bring years of affordable vacationing, likewise it can become a liability. While annual maintenance fees pile up for some owners, others are unable to even enjoy their timeshare year after year. A growing number of people are liquidating assets and scurrying to pay their inflated home mortgages,
BuyATimeshare.com has created the resale marketplace on their website to help in their efforts. Advertising is a significant tool in a world driven by internet technology. More and more owners cannot afford, do not use, or are just looking to sell or rent their timeshare properties. “We’ve listened to our consumers and want to do everything possible to help. We are providing the best worldwide exposure to get timeshares sold,” Kogelman said.
