Disney Vacation Club Unveils First West Coast Timeshare Property! October 13, 2009
Posted by JConnolly in : Disney, General, News & Events, Travel , trackbackWhile many timeshare developers are stopping progress on new construction projects, Disney Vacation Club is expanding to better accommodate their clients in the United States. DVC has had many properties near to Disneyworld in Florida, however DVC timeshare owners wishing to visit Disneyland in Anaheim, California have been ignored, until now! At the end of September, DVC opened the doors of the new Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa!
The timeshare units feature 50 well-appointed villas ranging from studios to two story three bedroom grand villas accommodating up to twelve travelers. With little extras like flat panel televisions and rich oak furnishings, these units are sure to meet and exceed the Disney standard. Resort amenities include the Mandara Spa, a fitness center, the Napa Rose Lounge with California wines and a tiled fireplace, the Hearthstone Lounge bar filled with stained glass pieces, three themed swimming pools, Pinocchio’s Workshop for children, an arcade, barbeque grills and picnic areas, golf and tennis, and a vast array of guest activities.
This new development is part of Disney Vacation Club’s latest expansion targeting West Coast clients. Currently, about 86 percent of the 400,000 plus DVC members live east of the Mississippi River, but the new Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is the first push to expand the clientele. Additionally, DVC is building a 830 room resort in Hawaii, scheduled to open in 2011, with 480 of the rooms scheduled as timeshare units.
Remember, by buying resale you can save thousands over resort pricing. Check out the Disney Vacation Club resale units on BuyATimeshare.com here!
