In bankruptcy court the developer was the successful bidder on July 20, 2010. And while ownership has changed hands these resorts are still providing the same unforgettable vacation experiences. BuyATimeshare.com, specializing in timeshare resales, works with an active marketplace of buyers and renters who have been inquiring as to the fate of the Consolidated Resort.
Arthur Spector explains “We are pleased to bring this business back under our control of our local family that has succeeded in the timeshare business for over thirty years.” After Consolidated Resorts discontinued its operations in June 2009 due to the overwhelming effect of the credit crisis and the slowed economy, its major lenders put a halt to funding the properties. A Whitehall Fund, sponsored by Goldman Sachs, had initially made a significant investment by acquiring 75 per cent of the majority interest. Though the Whitehall Fund has since terminated its interest in the Consolidated Resorts group of companies, ownership has recently changed hands.
Consolidated Resorts has a collection of timeshare properties throughout Las Vegas and the Islands of Hawaii, providing affordable vacations for families and couples every year. “We are especially thankful that we were able to assist the trustee to protect the interest of over 100,000 timeshare owners in these difficult times. All of the timeshare resorts have remained fully operational, the owners have had uninterrupted use of their vacation plans and continue to choose Las Vegas and Hawaii as their vacation destinations. We look forward to rebuilding this vital sector of the Las Vegas economy.”
With the winter months approaching, Las Vegas resorts like Tahiti Village and Club de Soleil have become increasingly popular on the resale market. Vacationers enjoy a selection of Hawaiian destinations. Sands of Kahana Vacation Club, Kahana Beach Resort, The Gardens at West Maui, Kahana Villa Resort, Maui Beach Vacation Club, Maui Banyan Vacation Club, Kona Islander, and the Imperial Hawaii are just some of the magnificent destinations awaiting your arrival.
