Be part of the effort to get The New Hampshire Food Bank a brand new, 26 ft. refrigerated box truck! Not only will this ensure that food will arrive quickly, it will also allow the Food Bank to significantly expand its distribution and capacity. The Pepsi Refresh Project is helping to fund ideas that will have a positive impact. The NH Food Bank is in the running for $50,000 in order to purchase this new truck. Giving away $1,300,000 each month, Pepsi is looking for your vote to fund this great idea.
Since 1984 The NH Food Bank has been providing food to hungry families throughout the Granite State. In 2009, the not-for-profit organization was able to acquire and distribute a record-setting 5.8 million pounds of food to those in need. The Food Bank has recently grown out of its Manchester, NH warehouse and despite moving into a larger storage area, there is still unmet demand.
With will triple the available space the NH Food Bank has set a goal of processing and providing 10 million pounds of food each year. While the new warehouse can provide the space to accommodate this increase, an additional 26 ft. truck will expand the distribution by 25%. So vote today and make this the next Pepsi Refresh winner.
